It's a Coke showdown. A drink battle that takes place on the island of Corsica, in a legal, economic and historical war. The American soda giant Coca-Cola is in conflict with a small Corsican wine company which has decided to relaunch a drink more than a century old by the name of "Coca Mariani". The Coca-Cola Company, which has an annual turnover of around $33 billion, decided to attack the island wine on the grounds that the name could instill “confusion in the minds of consumers”.
