Introduction

While some equipment manufacturers sometimes offer their own range of transport bags, many other manufacturers of IT accessories also offer more or less general bags.We decided to test the transport bag the reporter ofBe.EZ, presented by the manufacturer as the companion dedicated to transporting the MacBook Pro, but also a PC laptop as we will see during this folder.Be.EZ is a French brand well known for its conceptions with neat and refined design while remaining functional, and whose products are more particularly dedicated to Apple brand products.His motto is: the object in the service of man (not the other way around)...

The Bag The reporter is offered for MacBook Air version 11 "as well as for MacBook Pro in 13"/15 ’’ version, and in two colors: black/Safranetlagoon Dream (gray/blue).

This is version 13 "/15" in the black/saffron color that we decided to test in this folder since it is also perfect for our PCs.

We unpack!

We have received our bag by post in a very rigid and thick protective cardboard, ensuring good protection at our bag.At the opening, we discover this one, carefully protected by a plastic film and a little foam to prevent it from floating in its packaging.

Our experience has often shown us that a manufacturer having taken care to pay particular attention to the packaging of his product is often a favorable indicator of the same concern that he brings to the use of his product.In this case, when unpacking, we immediately told ourselves that we were going to have in our hands a product with serious qualities for the protection of our laptop.

The characteristics of the bag

The plastic film withdrawn, we can read on a first label the technical characteristics.This tells us that the outside of the bag is made of woven woven water resistant water ensuring content protection in any time.The color is matt black.

The front reporter

The interior is nylon (210D nylon) Safran color.An identical color is used for zippers and exterior seams.

The reporter: back and thickness: the empty bag remains rigid sufficiently

Even empty, this flexible bag remains rigid enough not to sag under its own weight as can be checked in the photo above.

The large shoulder strap (about 50mm) is in a woven nylon, like an automotive belt.Suffice to say that she is not likely to tear.The loops endearing the shoulder strap are very rigid and not metal in a metal to contribute to the reduction in the weight of the bag.The loops are fixed on the sides of the bag by a type of seam which recalls those present on certain hiking bags, as shown in the photo below.

Finally, a large velcro strip on 2/3 of the front of the bag, ensures the closure of the flap.The latter reveals the manufacturer's mark in the lower left corner in a very discreet way.The advantage of the Velcro is its speed and convenience of implementation both at the opening and the closure.On the other hand, a major drawback is the noise caused during the opening: it is not very discreet during a late arrival at a meeting ...

The second label reminds us that this bag is sized internally for a 15 MacBook Pro from 15 ”.It also indicates that the product is manufactured in China (even if the brand BE.Ez is French).Its maximum exterior dimensions are 430x310x110 mm for a weight of 940g vacuum.

External storage

The flap ensuring the closure of the bag, in addition to being waterproof to water, contains a material ensuring protection against external shocks while giving it a little rigidity.

This flap has a zipper which gives access to a first storage pocket, covering the almost total width of the bag and on 4/5 of its height.

Access being easy when the bag is closed, we can place some non -bulky accessories or documents that can be needed immediately.Thus, it is possible to place a plan, its passport, a badge, a leaflet, etc.

At the rear, the bag has a bellows also equipped with a zipper which gives access to a large storage pocket on the entire surface of the bag.

We can then store a book or documents of reasonable thickness in 21 × 29, 7, or even a computer charger and its wiring.

The interior is built around two bellows of different dimensions, covered with a 210D nylon of Safran shade.

The smallest of the two bellows is designed to accommodate the MacBook Pro in 13 "or 15" format ".The bottom of this bellows is quilted and raised to protect the device from blows and falls.

As we can see in the photo below, our MacBook Pro 13 »finds a comfortable place in this accommodation.

As the bellows seem to tighten slightly towards the bottom of the bag, our MacBook 13 "easily enters this location and finds itself fairly well wedged on each side by the lateral mattress, even if clearly the location is a bit big for him.

Fortunately, an elastic band 35mm wide, equipped with a Velcro, falls back on the middle of the bellows, allowing to tighten the top, and thus stall our computer a little better.

Not having our MacBook Pro 15 »At the time of this test, we used a laptop of 15.4 ".Of course the PC is a little thicker than the MacBook Pro 15 ’’, but as we can see in the photo below, this bag is not prohibited and our laptop naturally finds a place of choice.

Our device is perfectly wedged in this bellows and we can see that the back of the back of the bag ensures sufficient protection of the device in the event of "reasonable" shocks.

No other storage is provided in this bellows.

Interior storage of accessories and files

The two laptops removed, the exploration of the bellows 15 "shows us three additional storage.

The first of these storage is a honeycomb net in honeycomb, over the entire width of the bag, and separated into 3 compartments

The second storage, sewn on the central separation of the two compartments, consists of two pockets occupying there too the width of the bag.

Beyond this fairly large storage capacity in a reasonable size, we appreciated the solidity of this bag and its ability to effectively protect its content.

Whether in black/saffron or dream lagoon, this bag is elegant and the weight/protection ratio is in favor of this product.
